Since its inception in 1986 as a summer program in Oxford, this program has grown to offer summer educational experiences in Cambridge, Paris, Barcelona, and New York City. Oxbridge offers more than 150 course options in five cities: Oxford, Cambridge, Paris, Barcelona, and New York. Their programs range from one week to four weeks and are mainly for students in grades 8-12.
Structure of the Course
The course structure of the academic programs is experiential in nature, with a lot of learning taking place through discussions, debates, and experiments. The program culminates in student-driven projects and presentations. The uniqueness of the program lies in the use of the cities they take place in as campuses for learning. Students have access to the Museum of Modern Art in Manhattan, the Louvre in Paris, and the Ashmolean in Oxford.
They can have debates in Oxford’s famed Union, shadow business professionals on Wall Street, visit cafes frequented by Albert Camus and Jean-Paul Sartre to discuss topics on philosophy, or get inspired to refine their writing skills in the same venues that inspired Zadie Smith and Ernest Hemingway. Application Process
The program is meant for academically motivated students hence the application process too requires students to demonstrate their ability. Students fill out the following:
- Major Minor or Workshop preferences.
- The name and contact details of a teacher or counselor who knows the strengths of the students, have to be provided.
- An essay of 500 words has to be written stating why you have chosen to attend the program, what you expect to achieve from it, and how, as a participant you can contribute to the program.
- Recent Grades
- Payment for the program can be made either in full or in other flexible options. Needless to say, deposits will be refunded to applicants who are not accepted to the program.

Tuition Costs
The costs are inclusive of classroom instruction, accommodation, two daily meals, transportation to and from the airport, all books and materials, and all guest presentations, workshops, field trips, and other activities organized by the program, including tickets to museums, sports matches, and the theater.
